This document (and Moscow Tours) was developed on request by adoptive parents and adoption agencies. Is my understanding of your needs more-or-less along the right lines? Comments welcomed. Please note that these sets of services can be modified and re-packaged to suit your individual needs. "Efficiency" and "VIP" are not carved in stone but rather used as an illustration how the same thing can be done at a considerably different cost.

Accommodation Advice and assistance. We know well the backpacker end of the market and will usually be able to set you up in the $25/person or $35/couple at the very most.

Transportation Meeting at the airport and travel to Moscow. Transfer back to the airport.
The choice between car or public transportation is dictated by what is most efficient under the circumstances.
You will be given travel directions, appointed someone to escort you through the public transit system in Moscow, or driven, based on efficiency considerations.
Directions, as detailed as practicable, will be issued to assist you during your travels outside of Moscow.

In all probability I will personally be at your service as a guide, driver and all-around assistance during your stay in Moscow.
If you prefer, one of us (no outsourcing) will escort you during your travels outside Moscow.
Orientation and communications: Standard "survival orientation tour" developed to make you self-sufficient in Moscow.
Usual duration 3-5 hours.
Orientation and communications: Help with hotel check in, visa registration, money exchange and other errands that need to be done soon upon arrival.
Orientation tour of your neighbourhood: shopping, eating out, banking etc.
Communications: how to call long distance, calling cards, nearest internet cafe or arranging Internet access from your computer or availing a computer to you.
Cell phone or SIMM card procured or phone rental arranged.
Somebody will be with you till all the issues are sorted out.
As much interpreting help as needed will be available. I personally or Olesya will attend your needs.
Guidance and transportation: Guide with sufficient English and general knowledge to resolve everyday problems is within reach 24 hours a day.
Use of the car is included when public transportation is not practical.
Guidance and transportation: Fluently bilingual guide and driver are readily available any time of day and night. Usually that would be I personally.
The choice of the mode of transportation is dictated by comfort considerations.
Paperwork Translations, certification, notarizations. Documents processed without delay.
Detailed instruction on how to find the required offices, or an escort will be availed to take you there by public transit.

Extra services No frills but I'll still encourage you to explore the environment your child came from.

Typical cost We'll need to put a few people through the cycle before finalizing the list of services and their cost but I'll be aiming at $200-300.
Typical cost Coming up but now I'd venture to guess that you'll need one week of my undivided attention and the total bill for our services will be in the $800-1000 range.
