April 2011: No answers to enquiries "Long-term rental (2 months or more), from $400 in the outskirts of the city to $5000 for a top 5 room unit in the very heart of the city. Average price for a 2-room central Moscow apartment $1000-1500, with 50% as agent's fee. I speak English and understand requirements of foreign travellers to Moscow. Andrej, andrejr@yandex.ru, ICQ 340-520-432, tel. +7-926-538-9309, +7-495-744-4732 An agent recommended by on www.expat.ru forum by her happy client: olga.baranova@cmsrussia.com, tel. 937 55 72 Although these are "luxury" rather than "budget" I am listing Rick here because his service style really stands out. Perhaps the only Moscow operator who will not give you a flat no if his apartments are booked but go out of his way to set you up with something appropriated. Recommended for service quality. Apartments are good too and well worth the price. Also he may have "last minute" specials. Please don't be put off by American jingoism on his site www.enjoymoscow.com . You are renting his apartments, not his attitude. RECOMMENDED ....got a letter from his client that described his style as "bullying"....
From Marina,
my former housekeeper:
JUNE 30, 2006: $80 FOR THE APARTMENT, $30 FOR THE ROOM. PROBABLY VALID IN THE 2007 SEASON. June 30, 2007 - AN COMPLAINT TO THE EFFECT THAT MARINA FAILED TO WARN THE CLIENT THAT THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN THE APARTMENT [FULL STORY] An agency but their offers seem attractive enough to be added to this list: http://razmestim.com/index_eng.html Prices start at $70-75/night. |
