Need the originals?
Original paper invitations/travel vouchers send registered mail  from the center of Moscow will arrive within 2 weeks with 90% probability.  The cost is $5, probably an errand fee of $25 will be imposed. By comparison, a courier will cost you $70-90 in most cases, plus my errand fee of $25.

Invitations and visa support

Tourist invitation are now available from me. Usually takes a few hours. The cost of an e-mailed invitation is $50 for citizens of most "western" countries. To get started I need a scan of your passport, readable but not too large, and your travel dates.

Registration to my address is also available. Takes a few hours. The cost is $80 for tourist visas.

I USUALLY PICK UP AND DELIVER YOUR DOCUMENTS! IN VIEW OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF LOSING YOUR PASSPORT, VISA, OR THE INCONSPICUOUS-LOOKING MIGRATION CARD I USUALLY DO REGISTRATION MYSELF OR DELEGATE THE TASK ONLY TO MOST ATTENTIVE OF MY ASSOCIATES.

As of the moment I can only guess that registration for one full year will be around $160-200.

Invitations for a business multi-entry visa for one year are $360. Takes 2-3 weeks. The end result is a telex sent to the Russian Consulate at which you plan to apply for your visa.

In-between options, such as 3 or 6 month business visas are not recommended because they are almost as expensive as invitations for one year.

While I technically can do a private invitation, these involve too much work from my end to make them worth it. Not recommended except for some special cases, e.g. if you have relatives in Russia and are for this reason denied a tourist visa.

Government policy and visa practices are in a state of flux. Talk to me before requesting your invitation.

I am able to issue invitations only to Indian nationals  whom I know personally. No exceptions!

Malaysia & the region:
Write to zaharah@enesty.com.my for visa support, tickets, other assistance. Zaharah is based in Kuala Lumpur and can look after the citizens of Singapore, Indonesia, Tailand and Brunei, in addition to those living in Malaysia itself. Recommended by a Malaysian couple who travelled to Russia in the winter of 2007.
When writing, refer to Salleh & Aini.

From my mailbox
Received April 4, 2008

BTW, I must thank you for having the information for Indian nationals on your website. If I hadn't read about Salvia Travels, I would never have had the Russian visa with me today!

An agency in Moscow that happily provides visa support to Indian nationals:

peterreilly43@gmail.com

(Peter)

They also promise help in finding "reasonably priced" accommodation and in obtaining work permits.

NEW!! http://www.ostwest.com/  was recommended for travellers to Russia from India and Far East generally.

The government department responsible for visas, invitation, immigration etc. is called UVIR, their office is located in Pokrovka 42 (M. Kurskaya or Kitai-Gorod). Telephones:  207-0113/3930/3032. Usually it is faster and cheaper to work through agents but in cases out of the ordinary, eg. lost or expired visas, you may have no choice but to deal with OVIR/UVIR

I'm receiving 2-3 serious enquiries per year on acquiring Russian citizenship and am sort of looking into this subject. Here are some links on the subject:
