Moldova (Moldavia).
I have a
special interest :) in promoting Marisha from Chisinau, Moldova.
She will assist you in ways similar to mine (accommodation, tickets, all-around
support and advice) in her sunny corner of the CIS/FSU empire. 26 hours by train via
Kiev, $35 for the cheapest ticket, visas are easy to get and are likely to
be phased out for westerners. Watch out for my own detailed report on
