My personal pick for apartments.
One small, full of light but noisy a few steps from St. Isaac's
cathedral, close to former Royal Stables. Except the entrance hall,
looks and feels like a 4-star hotel.
"The Stables"
Another one - my favourite - is a
huge dark silent one by the Hermitage, with its own entrance. "Evroremont"
and a shower equipped with a stereo system provide a bit of comic
relief from the gravity of this piece Dostoyevskian St. Petersburg.
