I took Uncle Pasha's advice and attempted to get my Russian Visa through visatorussia.com. Because of the 30 day limit on applying for a Russian visa, I waited until I got to China to apply, assuming that I could pick it up in Beijing and hop on the trans-Siberian there. Visatorussia was excellent in responding to my e-mails, until they got my money. Then they were virtually impossible to get in contact with. I tried repeated e-mails and could get no response.
Luckily, I found out from a fellow traveler that it is now impossible to pick up a visa for Russia at the Russian Consulate in Beijing, unless you are a Chinese citizen or permanent resident.
I e-mailed visatorussia about this but got no response. When I was finally able to get them on the phone they acted surprised to hear from me. They told me that I had to go to Hong Kong to get my visa. This was a major hassle for me and caused me to have to cancel a big part of my traveling. When I got to Hong Kong I called them again and they told me that I would have to pay an additional $60.00 US for them to Fedex the visa to me. I gave up on them at that point, ate the $60.00 dollars I had already paid them, and got the visa through another company within 24 hours. Do not do business with them.

A copy of a letter to Intelservices
You may remember that I purchased a visa support from you late may and visited Moscow June9th to 22nd.
In order to avoid problems for your customers in future I feel I should explain the following problems that I encountered:
When I arrived in Moscow and was trying to find you for registration, the telephone number on the fax you had sent me was not correct. The address 'Leninsky Prospect 29' was not helpful. Finally witht he help of a friend I found your office of a side street, but simply because it is labelled 'Registration'.
You did not however provide the registration service as your advertising had led me to believe. My host in Sokolniki had to spend ALL DAY (9-17) waiting in the Sokolniki registration office. She had to return the next day when I had to go with her to sign. We waited THREE HOURS to find nothing had been done.
May I respectfully suggest that your service could be improved, or that you explain that you are not able in fact to provide an adequate registration service?
Perhaps you can advise me what I should do next time I visit Moscow.
Best wishesChristopher Stembridge
